Traffic Engineering will Be Implemented Due to Sudirman Bicycle Crossing Bridge Construction

Jakarta Transportation Agency implemented traffic engineering on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, between Mayapada Tower and Le Meridien due to Karet Sudirman Bicycle Crossing Bridge (JPS).

This construction work takes about 6 months to finish, from April 1 to September 2021. It includes dismantling roofs, ramp, as well as installing steel lifts, steel stairs, JPS floors and steel platforms.

During the construction, Transjakarta Karet JPO users will be directed to use pelican crossing.

- JPO demolishing work on west and east sides of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman on April 2-31, 2021 at 22.00-04.00. Two lanes will be closed.
-West JPS girder installation work on June 24, 2021 at 22.00-04.00:
• Traffic flow from south (Semanggi) to north (Bundaran HI) will be diverted to Jalan K.H. Mas Mansyur - U-turn - Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur 5 - Jalan Jenderal Sudirman;
• Traffic flow from north (Bundaran HI) to south (Semanggi) normal
- JPS structure and architecture installation work on west, east, and middle sides (median) from May 1 to August 16, 2021 at 22.00-04.00. Two lanes will be closed.
- East JPS girder installation on July 8, 2021 at 22.00-04.00:
• Traffic flow from north (Bundaran HI) to south (Semanggi) will be diverted to Landmark - Jalan Galunggung - Jalan RM. Margono Djojohadikoesoemo - Jalan K.H. Mansyur - Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio - U-turn - Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.
• Traffic flow from south (Semanggi) to North (Bundaran HI) normal.
